International Organisations

FealiyyetAMS had the chance to carry out various projects and long-term research in collaboration with the following international organisations:

  • Developing first of its kind “Azerbaijan Export Catalogue 2007/2008” in published, CD-ROM and web-site form. This project is partly supported by Eurasia Foundation.
  • Policy research on “Public-Private Partnership in Infrastructure Development Programs in Azerbaijan” with the support of Counterpart International and USAID.
  • Survey of the business people for the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report (2005, 2006, 2007).
  • Translation and Publication of book on “Marketing: An Introduction” by Gary Armstrong and Philip Kotler, a university textbook for students majoring in marketing and economy. The main goal of the project is to translate and print the book on “Marketing” An Introduction, 7/E by Gary Armstrong and Philip Kotler. The project was supported by the US Department of State, Eurasia Foundation, British American Tobacco and Ziya Plus.
  • The Public Education for Business on Notary Services project supported by USAID, World Learning and Ministry of Justice. The main goal of the project is to promote the protection of property rights by increasing knowledge on the role and importance of notarial system in entrepreneurship, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the notaries. The components of the project includes: 1. organize and conduct trainings; 2. to produce weekly 1 page inserts in a newspaper; 3. to produce and arrange broadcast of two Public Service Announcements (PSA commercials) and 4) to produce and place posters in billboards in Baku.
  • Access to Market Project aimed at the assessment of situation with leather, diary and pickles production and marketing in Barda, Ter-Ter and Mingachevir regions with further development of recommendations to relevant governmental institutions and poor producers regarding the better facilitation and choice in the access to markets for the poor, as well as to feed Oxfam’s micro-finance program in the target areas with more effective business interventions.
  • Azerbaijan Civil Society Development Program supported by USAID and CRS. The main goal of 3 years program is to increase public participation in policy formation by strengthening NGO capacities for effective, responsive and responsible public – interest advocacy. 
  • Project “Opportunities for equal access to markets for socially vulnerable groups in Azerbaijan” (under the CRS/ACSD program). The main goal of the Public Awareness Campaign was to comprehensively highlight the problems of equal access of small entrepreneurs/farmers to the market and deliver these messages to the relevant state authorities/policy makers and general public through implementation of advocacy activities by means of organization of various events and putting forward necessary suggestions/recommendations.
  • Conducting specializing trainings on Business Ethics for local Business Structures and Companies to support public and business structures in developing their codes of ethics together with Transparency Azerbaijan. This project was funded by the US Department of Commerce.
  • Organization and conducting trainings for Local NGO’s of Azerbaijan functioning in the sphere of education and culture. The theme of trainings have covered the important elements of management and development of NGO’s in the Republic such as Strategic Planning, Effective Management, PR, Fundraising and Project Cycle Management. The project was implemented with the financial support of Open Society Institute/ SOROS Foundation.
  • Marketing Survey in the sphere of handy crafts and applied art. The project was implemented with the financial support of Open Society Institute Foundation.
  • Launching an Information Campaign on marketing issues with the financial support of Eurasia Foundation. The main goal and activities of this project was the conducting of workshops, round tables discussions and seminars on Marketing for Business Community of Baku, Lenkoran, Masalli and Celilabad, publication of “Marketing” Supplement in Zerkalo newspaper, Web-site development on Marketing and others. 
  • Creation of Azerbaijan Tourist Information System financed by Eurasia Foundation (see our web-site on the implemented works)
  • Training of trainers on business planning and investment projects for community members in the regions supported by CHF.
  • Development and broadcasting of Social TV commercials through ANS TV cannel supported by World Bank
